The rehabilitation project of the Ab Mirza Traditional Hotel, located near the Imam Reza (A.S.) Shrine and Shirazi Street in Mashhad, was implemented with the aim of improving and designing the existing buildings with an emphasis on traditional Iranian architecture.
Since the two main buildings could not be altered in size, an interior design inspired by traditional Iranian elements was adopted, while the residential spaces were improved and developed to provide a comfortable living environment with an authentic character.
The renovation project of the Ab Mirza Traditional Hotel focuses on reviving authentic Iranian architecture through the use of local materials such as brick, straw, plaster, and traditional motifs. The design features a central courtyard with a water basin that provides a tranquil atmosphere, an entrance hall welcoming guests in a traditional style, and a traditional bathhouse offering an authentic guest experience.
The project also includes an open-air café with a badger and green wall, and accommodation units with stained glass and decorative wooden ceilings. The design is based on sustainability principles through local materials and environmental elements such as the badger and green wall, offering a harmonious blend of authenticity and modernity, making the stay a unique and unforgettable experience.
